Even as a child, I was fascinated by games like Pokémon on the DS – I wondered how a complete game could fit into such a small device. This fascination led me to the HTL for Electronics and Technical Informatics. During these five years, I experienced highs and lows: initially, I struggled with mathematics, and after failing a re-examination, I had to use a special provision to advance to the next grade. However, with discipline and perseverance, I made it to the Matura (high school diploma), where I ultimately achieved top grades. After my graduation, I worked for a year at Lebenshilfe Murau, an organization for people with disabilities. This experience showed me how much joy I find in working with people. Nevertheless, I felt something was missing – technology. A brief detour into a teaching degree showed me that the outdated system neither challenged nor inspired me. Back in the world of technology, I found my place at Anton Paar. Here, I had the chance to deepen my Python skills. Among other things, I developed an internal GUI testing system for one of the products, which is still used intensively today. During this time, my passion for 3D printing also began, offering me a creative way to combine technology and craftsmanship. In parallel, I started a degree in Business Analytics & AI to complement my technical skills with business and analytical know-how. This combination of IT, mathematics, empathy, and creativity allows me to pursue my vision: to integrate my various hobbies – programming, test development, and 3D printing – into an innovative overall picture and thus make the world a little bit better.
